Filamentary Keratitis help?

So I have filamentary keratitis and I don't know how to help the eye mucus strands from going away. Sometimes they block my vision and it's so annoying! Also gross! My friends always laugh because I ALWAYS have something in my eye- and it's true! How do I get them to go away? Also it IS NOT an infection. It's caused by dry eye (yes eye drops help with comfort, not the strands) and Its hereditary.
