Politics in high school athletics?

im tired of this crap. If your a ball hog and your parents are in the booster s u get to play even though your not good and shouldnt be playing. Ok i was on the jv basketball team this past season and now that the season is over we are getting ready for summer. The coach has planned a team camp at a college and has been calling people about it to attend. Guess what i havent been called yet. Other kids that were on the jv team have and they werent that good one was a ball hog who shot everytime he got it and the other was crap to he couldnt have shot over 25 to 30 % the whole season. I was consistent player every game. So my question is do i call the coach and ask why i havent been called?? or what do i do i want to play varsity
